La Coppa del Mondo a Francavilla / The World Cup in Francavilla
Anche se non centra con il nostro progetto era, comunque, un evento degno di nota: venerdì 14 Dicembre i nostri alunni hanno avuto il privilegio di osservare da vicino e fotografare la Coppa del Mondo, vinta dalla nostra Nazionale nella scorsa edizione del campionato mondiale di calcio .
Even though it isn't related with our project, it was an event that we must notice as well: On friday 14th December our pupils had the privilege of looking with their eyes and of photographing the World Cup won by our National Team in the last world football champioship.

What an honour ! Your children wil certainly remember this occasion as long as they live ! I am afraid we (in England) have not had the fortune to have enjoyed having the World Cup in residence since 1966 and so we are looking to an Italian, Fabio Capello, to do his best to help us ! (WE need LOTS of help) Just by pure co-incidence I understand that one of his assistants, Signor Baldini, is a well-known olive oil farmer and regularly wins prizes for this activity. We in England hope that he can put aside this business for the next 4 years and just concentrate on winning something with us !
